CA Draw Coverage Area Map

  1. Log in as the Main Coordinator
  2. Go to your main menu and choose DAILY OPERATIONS > AFFILIATE > COVERAGE AREAS.

  3. A page will display showing the affiliates you manage. You can either “Edit” an existing coverage area or add a new coverage area.  
  4. To add a new coverage area, select the Plus + sign at the top right of your screen.

USING DRAW COVERAGE AREA MAP TOOLS

  1. Search for and view available postal codes in any given area of the map.
  2. View postal codes covered by you and other affiliates in any given area of the map.
  3. Add new areas to your Coverage Area using the “Draw Coverage Area” tool.

Refresh Map Data
Refresh and update the map as you move from one area of the map to another using your mouse.
Draw Coverage Area
This feature allows you to identify and add all available postal codes in any given area of the map by drawing (one click to drop a pin) a polygon around the area.
Save
Once you have drawn the polygon around the postal code you wish to add to your coverage area, click “Save” to confirm and add them.
Reset
If you need to change the selection within your polygon, click reset to start over.

How to find and add new postal codes to your coverage area using the map

  1. First, using your mouse along with the plus (+) and minus (-) tools in the lower right corner of the map, position the map in the area you wish to cover.
  2. Click the green “Available” icon to see what postal codes are available to cover within that area.
  3. Click the blue button labeled “Draw Coverage Area”.
  4. Then, place your mouse over the area of the map you wish to cover and click to begin drawing a polygon around the entire area.
  5. Once your polygon is complete, you can click the green button labeled “Save” to save all postal codes within your polygon.
  6. When you click “Save” a confirmation window will open. You will be given the total number of postal codes you are about to add to your coverage area.
  7. You must click “Confirm” to confirm and save the new postal codes to your coverage area.
  8. If you prefer, you can also click “Cancel” to go back.
Map Pins
You can click any combination of the map pins to see what postal codes are available, unavailable or already covered by you. Each time you select or deselect a pin, the map will refresh automatically to display your choices.
The “Available" pin shows all postal codes available within any given area of the map.
The “Covered By You” pin shows all postal codes covered by your affiliate within any given area of the map.
The "Covered By Other Affiliate” will show postal codes already covered by other affiliates and not available to cover.
