What happens when a child reaches their graduation month? (Month of their 5th birthday)
When a child reaches their 5th birthday, they will graduate from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. They will receive the graduation book, the final one in the program, the month of their 5th birthday as long as they are active in the system with a valid address on file. The system automatically handles graduations, and they are removed from your active database, and limited information is kept on file.
In addition to receiving the Graduation Book, children will receive a personalized video message from Dolly on their 5th birthday! Emails will only be sent to children of operating affiliates actively receiving books. Emails are sent to the individual child and not mailed in bulk. *Any child set to graduate in the same month their registration becomes active will not receive the graduation email.*
Report Tracking: You can access Custom Graduate Reports under the Reports Menu menu in the Book Order System but due to privacy policies, the child's name is not stored after graduation, and graduate data can only be retrieved for the most recent 12-month period.
