USA - Additional USPS City Names and Spellings

Recently the USPS postal data was updated within your BOS. This update introduced new combinations of different names and spellings of names for cities. With these new combinations in place, it is very important that you login to your BOS and add these new names/spellings to your coverage area. Not doing this could cause confusion for parents when looking for your program.

So here’s what you do:

1. Login to your BOS
2. Under Daily Operations select “Affiliates” then “Coverage Areas”
3. From the list of coverage areas you have, click to edit each one
4. When you enter the Zip Code, click TAB or RETURN and the BOS will present all available names/spellings.

If you want to ensure your organization covers all possible names/spellings for a Zip Code combination, simply add each of them by clicking “NEW” and following the previous steps.
