Statewide Programs

The below map details US states that have committed to statewide Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library programs as of April 2025.

State commitment requires Legislation, Governor support, and State Funding. The goal of a Statewide Program is to have DPIL program coverage across all counties and all zip codes and enroll +65% of all eligible 0-5 children in the state.

States in Green= Fully Covered

State Program launched. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is available in all counties/all zip codes in the state.

States in Orange= Expansion in Progress

State Program launched—county expansion of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in process.

States in Blue= Coming Soon

State Program not launched. Statewide expansion plans are in process.
