Statewide Programs

The below map details US states that have committed to statewide Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library programs as of 2/1/2024.

State commitment requires Legislation, Governor support, and State Funding. The goal of a Statewide Program is to have DPIL program coverage across all counties and all zip codes and enroll +65% of all eligible 0-5 children in the state.

States in Green= Fully Covered

State Program launched. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is available in all counties/all zip codes in the state.

States in Orange= Expansion in Progress

State Program launched—county expansion of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in process.

States in Blue Stripes= Coming Soon

State Program not launched. Statewide expansion plans are in process.
