Royal Mail Address Verify

Your new CHILD-EDIT screen has been organized to help reduce the time it takes to review and edit each child’s record. Specifically, you can now more quickly and efficiently enter and verify a child’s mailing address as we will now explain.
As you see in the image below, the address information area is now on the top of your child-edit screen with the POST CODE field being the very first field to enter. Once you enter the POST CODE and click your TAB key, the BOS will populate the POST TOWN for you using the official Royal Mail PAF Data which is frequently updated throughout each calendar year.
Once you enter the POST CODE and click TAB, your POST TOWN automatically fills in and your cursor then jumps to the address field. As you begin typing the address, you will then be presented with a list of choices that you can choose from as the address for that child.

If you are going in to edit an existing child's record and that record does not match Royal Mail's PAF Data on file, the record will be marked as shown below.

To correct the address, as you begin to type, you will be shown the bad address for reference and a list of possible new valid addresses to choose from as shown below.

Simply select the correct valid address and save the child's record.
