How can someone designate a donation to my affiliate on imaginationlibrary.com?
The user would check the box next to the question about designation a donation to a local affiliate. Your affiliate would be matched if the set coverage area for your affiliate matched the address entered in this section. If you do not have set coverage area but you are set as operating or committed within the Book Order System, your affiliate would only show in the drop-down menu.
When will my affiliate receive a credit for the donation?
You will receive immediate notifications when a donation matching up to your affiliate. Donations will be applied as a credit to your book bill. A 4% credit card processing fee is deducted from the donation amount. To see when donations are applied as a credit to an invoice, click here.
Will my local affiliate receive the contact information of the donor?
As of August 21st, 2020 the donation form includes a consent box for the donor to choose if they would like to share their contact information with the local Imagination Library affiliate they have selected. The consent box will only show if they designate the donation to a local Imagination Library affiliate. If consent is provided, the contact information will appear within the automated email notification that you receive. If they do not consent it will display a message stating the donor would like to remain private.
What are my responsibilities when I receive a notification of a donation?
No action is needed on your part. The Dollywood Foundation will thank the donor with a special message from Dolly and will also apply the credit, on a quarterly basis, to your internal account with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Can my affiliate opt-out of receiving donations?
Yes, you can opt-out of receive donations by turning off the setting on your affiliate's enhanced profile within the Book Order System
Can someone make a memorial or gift donation?
Yes, a user can make this donation in honor, memory, or celebration of someone. This functionality also includes a personalized special email from Dolly which is generated by the name and description the donor enters on the website.
Can users make monthly recurring donations?
Yes, users can choose to make monthly donations by choosing to give monthly within the options on the donations page.
How are donors recognized?
Donors are sent a special thank you message from Dolly automatically and if the display option is checked, their name and donation amount are displayed on a special donor recognition page at imaginationlibrary.com.
What link can I use to direct the general public to make donations?
