Gathering insights from families enrolled in the Imagination Library is invaluable for understanding their experiences and enhancing our program. Below are key guidelines for conducting surveys with our families.
Utilizing Mailchimp for Outreach
All communications to parents from Local Program Partners must be conducted through Mailchimp via the BOS. As a proud partner of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, having an integrated Mailchimp account connected to the BOS enables you to effortlessly maintain an updated mailing list of parents whose children are registered with your program, all while adhering to our community guidelines and data sharing policy. Crafting Survey Questions
When designing your survey, ensure that all questions align with the themes of the Imagination Library and literacy. Please refrain from soliciting donations in your survey, as our program is entirely free for families.
It’s important to avoid collecting identifiable information related to the child or family. While it’s acceptable to inquire about general details such as age, do not request specific personal information like names or addresses.
**Survey Review Process**
We really appreciate your commitment to gathering feedback! Before you send out your survey, please submit a draft to your Regional Director for a quick review. They’ll provide helpful comments and suggestions to make your survey the best it can be.
